Sikkim University NSS organises blood donation camp

Gangtok : On the occasion of World Anti-Drug Day, Sikkim University NSS organised a voluntary blood donation camp in collaboration with Sikkim Manipal University at 5th Mile, Tadong. As many as 43 students and staff members of Sikkim University including Registrar TK Kaul and Controller Dr. Suresh Kr. Gurung donated blood on the occasion. The organisers are hopeful the camp will send out a strong message of positive health, fitness and wellbeing and encourage one and all to adopt a healthy lifestyle and build a drug-free environment. The organisers also informed a number of students could not donate blood due to haemoglobin deficiency and blood pressure issues.
