Four Die in Darjeeling Road Accident

DARJEELING: Two boys and two girls died on the spot after their vehicle crashed 40-feet down near Teesta Bazaar, about 16 km from Kalimpong. According to the police, the private vehicle was travelling from Darjeeling to Gangtok. All four victims were residents of Sikkim. The victims were later identified as Catherine Sangey Lepcha, 38, Samuel Simon Sangey Lepcha, 29, Kinju Mingma Doma Sangey, 26, and Kelsang Ghaley Sherpa, 25. All of them are said to be relatives. According to cops, the accident took place around 4: 30 in the evening when the vehicle skidded off the road. However, the cause of the accident has not yet been ascertained.
