Jan Awaaz plans new strategies for Gorkhaland Statehood
New delhi : Jan Awaaz held a meeting in
New Delhi on 26th January 2014. Symbolic of its being a n organisation
of the Janta, the meeting was held in the open at the Deer Park. The
meeting passed a resolution in which Jan Awaaz noted that the deadline
for consideration on Telengana bill in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly is
approaching on the 30th of January. It is surprising that even in the
context of this important development, the elected representatives of
the Gorkhas are keeping silent on the issue of Gorkhaland.
