Nepal loses to Kenya by 1 wicket in warm-up match
Christchurch : Nepal lost to Kenya by one wicket in the warm-up match for the ICC World Cup Qualifiers held at Christchurch in New Zealand on Saturday.
Chasing a 266-run target set by Nepal Kenya reached the target losing 9 wickets with one ball to spare.
MA Ouma secured 73 runs in 73 balls, TM Odoyo collected 66 in 44 balls while IA Karim contributed 44 runs in 70 balls for Kenya.
Ouma hit four fours in his 73-ball innings, Odoya struck seven fours and two sixes while Karim made three fours and one six.
Electing to bat after winning the toss, Nepal had made 265 runs in stipulated 50 overs losing eight wickets.
Nepal had lost to Namibia by four runs yesterday.
