Rompu rape accussed sent to 1 days of police remand

Kalimpong : Suresh Biswakarma (26) who was arrested on 29th April in connection with a rape of 4 year child at Romphu was today produced before Kalimpong ACJM court. Biswakarma who was admitted in the hospital after public thrashed him after the incident was today discharge from the hospital after which he was taken for first production at the court. He was been booked under section 376(2),(1) of IPC and Sec 4 of POCSO Act 2012.Today police filed a request for one day custody of the accused showing reason to interrogate him after which court sent him to a day of Police remand . He will be produced tomorrow before the ACJM court again.
