BMS Declamation Contest for Magar Ladies at Naibasti, Dehradun

Dehradun : Bhartiy Magar Samaz (BMS) had a unique programme on 16 November. They had Declamation Contest
for Magar Ladies. Ladies of all age groups participated. There were old
ladies, young ladies and girls. Some exceptions were permitted i.e.
male-child. We did not expect it to be so good. The original idea came
from our dynamic shakha adhyaksh for Naibasti, Clement Town, Mrs. Yam
Kumari Rana. She practiced and within one month developed from a
reluctant public speaker to excellent orator. No wonder she stood first
among speakers.
