Subhash Ghisingh Enters Darjeeling Hills and meets supporters

Darjeeling : Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) Chief and former Chairman of Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council (DGHC) yesterday visited Kurseong to pay a visit to the Giddhepahar Temple there. He also inspected the landslide affected National Highway near Tindharia and met party supporters there and interacted with them.At ‘Alay Top’ in Rohini, he spent more than 45 minutes with his supporters and party workers. During this meeting he said the time had come to strengthen the party in the hills. He further said that he would very soon be returning to the hills permanently and would work towards the betterment of the people and the hills.Meanwhile, Ghisingh’s sudden visit to the hills has led to a major political upheaval in the hills. This was Ghisingh’s first unhindered visit to the hills after being forced into exile by the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM).
