Sikkim State CS review meet on President Pranab Mukherjee Visit

Gangtok : Chief Secretary Mrs. R. Ongmu convened a meeting today at the Conference Hall of the Secretariat to review the progress of preparation of concerned departments for the visit of the Hon’ble President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee to the State w.e.f. 10th to 11th November 2013 on the occasion of 40th Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics & Environment Exhibition to be held from 11th to 16th November, 2013 at Epica Garden, Saramsa, East Sikkim. During the meeting, the Chief Secretary sought detailed status report from all concerned departments, and instructed the officials to make all necessary arrangements in advance to ensure that everything is in order. While discussing the detailed programme of the Hon’ble President, the Chief Secretary took note of the work in progress and the minute gaps to be addressed immediately. The meeting was attended by Heads of Departments and officers of the concerned departments.
