‘Harassment’ of Gorkha people protested by AAGSU in Assam

KOKRAJHAR : The All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU) organised a massive protest march here in protest against the alleged harassment of Gorkha people in the BTC area by NDFB(S) militants. Hundreds of AAGSU supporters carrying banners and posters joined the protest rally, which started from the Raasmela Field and passed through the main thoroughfares of Kokrajhar town before ending at the Deputy Commissioner’s office here. Later, the AAGSU also submitted a memorandum to the Union Home Minister through the Deputy Commissioner of Kokrajhar.
