GJM thank people for voting for BJP Candidate SS Ahluwalia

Darjeeling : GJM Nagari-Dhaje zonal committee held a meeting to analyze the LS elections that was held in here. The zonal committee thanked the people for voting the GJM backed BJP candidate SS Ahluwalia and also said the struggle for statehood will be taken ahead once the results are declared. Zonal secretary Kishore Chettri said the voters have casted vote for SS Ahluwalia using their conscience and also expressed gratitude towards all the unit committees of the party for their role in making the election procedure a peaceful one.

Chettri said rising above the party politics people have voted for the chief agenda of Gorkhaland. He said the GJM supporters along with “other conscious people” have given their verdict to help the BJP form the government at the centre, which in turn will help in formation of Gorklhaland. Meanwhile, the GJM’s Pokhraybong-Chamong zonal committee has also expressed thankfulness towards the people, who voted for BJP candidate Ahluwalia. On the other hand, Pokhraybong-Nagari unit committee of TMC has also thanked the party supporters, GNLF supporters and all those who voted in favour of TMC candidate Bhaichung Bhutia.
