First look & teaser: Varun, Alia get flirty in 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'

Mumbai : If you loved Alia Bhatt in her desi avatar in 2 States then here she is recreating that charm again in the movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, where she is paired opposite Varun Dhawan. The charming dude Varun Dhawan and the pretty belle Alia Bhatt have come together for the Karan Johar production Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania -- a romantic comedy. In the movie, Varun plays a fun-loving Humpty Sharma, while Alia gets to essay his ladylove Kavya Pratap Singh. The first round of promotions has already started. 

The teaser showing Varun as a lonely Punjabi munda trying to get a perfect dulhania is out. The video is sort of Humpty's matrimonial request where he expresses his desire to marry someone like Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone. What makes the teaser look really exciting is the use of the popular networking app -- What’s App. Varun as Humpty Sharma urges the girls to contact him through What’s App. Are you the perfect match for Humpty? Now as we have already seen Varun as the coolest dulhan-seeker, can’t wait for Alia Bhatt. The trailer of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is scheduled to be out on Monday, May 26, and the movie is slated to hit theatres on July 11. The movie is directed by first time Shashank Khaitan. Karan Johar was first to tweet the trailer: “Humpty Sharma's matrimonial request....please oblige....Trailer Abhi baaki hain doston! 26th may!”
