CM addresses people on 19th Govt Formation Day function

Gangtok : Chief Minister Pawan Chamling while addressing people present at the 19th Government Formation Day of Sikkim Democratic Front at Manan Kendra today claimed, “The government led by SDF has proved to be a party of the people. The government has undertaken several innovative works in the last 19 years and the party still holds support of the people of Sikkim.” The CM appraised the mission and vision of his government in his address. He also made a series of announcements while appealing the bureaucrats to practice qualitative work culture. He appealed the Departmental heads to accelerate their work and requested the Department of Personnel to prepare a list of unemployed youths in the state within a month. 

He assured the government will provide them with special facilities. He added the casual workers in the government sector since last 15 years will also be regularized within December. He said the Janta Mela has been postponed to January 15 because the list of beneficiaries has not yet been prepared. The CM also release a book titled ‘The Legacy Maker’ by Yishey Doma during the function. The function was attended by the Chief Secretary, Ministers, MLAs, Head of Departments, bureaucrats and party supporters.
