Sikkim Police arrest 35 Year old man in minor Rape case

Gangtok : Absconding accused in a rape case, Prem Bahadur Kami, aged 35 yrs, r/o Samsing, Galing, West Sikkim who had been absconding after raping his 17 yrs old cousin at Chumbung, West Sikkim on 08/10/2014 has been arrested yesterday after a late night raid at Tinjering, Gerethang, West Sikkim by Nayabazar Police. A case u/s 376 IPC r/w Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 had been registered on 11/10/2014 on a written complaint from the father of the victim girl against the absconding accused. The absconding accused was finally arrested after 6 days from the commission of crime
